Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a highly transparent thermoplastic polymer. This characteristic, makes it the perfect raw material for the elaboration of 3D effect edges. The advantages of 3D edge bands are: The inside of the edge is transparent and blends seamlessly with the melamine. In the corners, the edge design is not lost, as the grain pattern is printed on the back of the edge. A depth effect is achieved since the printing of the edge is not done on its surface but on its back. The exterior design of the 3D effect edges is never damaged because the print is not exposed to friction or impacts. It can be produced in matt or high gloss finish.

Cristal Effect over aluminum surface

Simulates the effect of a 4 mm tinted glass placed over an aluminum surface.

Cantos-Duo-cristal-aluminio

Plain colors and aluminums with a metalized effect. Being a 3D , the glossy effect when viewing the edge at an angle is obtained. Also in aluminium with metallic effect.

This product is also a 3D edgebanding, but inside the edge has a real aluminium foil. The foil is protected outside and backside for PMMA. The aluminum thus remains unalterable as it is protected in its entirety.
