– Digitally printed edgebands:

Cantisa’s flagship innovation, a pioneering company in Spain for incorporating this technology into edgeband manufacturing.Upon seeing the quality of our digitally printed designs, other manufacturers have expressed interest in incorporating this technology. But Cantisa leads the way, as we were the first in the country to apply it for this purpose. “Digital printing has enabled Cantisa to manufacture edgebands with complex designs, in full colour and high resolution. Furthermore, it allows us to reproduce any surface on the edge, including its texture and gloss level, with great production agility.”Digital printing was necessary to keep up with new trends and manufacture quality edgebands for the increasingly complex boards continuously entering the market.”.

– Real cork edgebanding:

Cantisa has developed an authentic cork edgeband to match boards and panels made of this material or for combining with other materials, offering high decorative value. Available with three different bases to adapt to the needs of each project: cork on PVC, on wood veneer, or on paper backing.

– Wooden screw covers:

Cantisa identified the need for this product among manufacturers of natural wood furniture and decided to materialize it. These adhesive wood patches for covering screws are made of the same material as the furniture, thus blending perfectly with the surface. Furthermore, they can be coated with the same varnish as the wooden furniture, achieving a uniform and well-maintained appearance. They are manufactured in various wood veneer species and in several diameters, according to the project’s requirements.

– Extraflexible and waterproof veneer:

This wood veneer features a revolutionary coating that provides extreme flexibility and waterproofing, replacing traditional varnish. This material is ideal for applications on curved surfaces with tight radii that may come into contact with water or moisture, such as skirting boards, baseboards, furniture legs, shoes, accessories, kitchen, and bathroom fixtures.

– Metal edgebands and inlays in any colour and shine:

Cantisa develops decorative edges with authentic aluminium layer, which have become one of their preferred products among interior designers and decorators. This product is also widely used for creating metal inlays in furniture, doors, or walls due to its elegance and ease of manipulation. Additionally, the tone and shine of the metal can be modified to suit any decorating style.

– New decorative edgebands, available in both PVC and natural veneer:

With these innovations, Cantisa invites its customers to break away from conventional furniture design and create spaces with a distinctive touch, where the edge becomes the focal point. Among these decorative edges, a standout is a new Mosaic Edgeband in authentic ebony wood, featuring synchronized relief with the design and metallic inks, offering high technical complexity and great aesthetic value.

Also digital innovations

Cantisa not only showcased innovations in their products, but also in the digital tools they offer to their customers. In the previous edition of Maderalia, they introduced their Virtual Simulator, the world’s first edgeband configurator, and they were not going to fall behind in this edition:

– Drone’s-eye virtual tour:

Cantisa conducted a virtual tour of its facilities so that everyone can get an idea of its capabilities as a manufacturer of wood and PVC edgebands. With the help of a drone, they recorded a video showcasing their more than 12,000 square meters of facilities.They highlight their smart warehouse, their digital and cylinder printing lines, their shipping section (which sends out over a million meters of edgeband per day), and their natural veneer edgeband factory, which exports to over 50 countries.

– New website:
