A natural looking finish

Suppose you are banding a board and have the grain pattern running vertically, and that side of the board will be visible, how do you band it? If you use a regular edgebanding then the grain runs perpendicular to the grain of the panel and doesn’t look good. That is why in Cantisa we have created a PVC edgeband with cross-grain design.

Thus, our customers can achieve the perfect finish. When banding the side of a board, the edgeband will almost be invisible, as the grain runs in the same direction.

All four sides of melamine boards are commonly banded with the grain in the same direction. However we should use cross-grain edgebanding for two of its sides, if you want a natural looking finish.

When designing this product, we study in-depth a solid veneer board, to gain a thorough understanding of design requirements: the grain running width wise rather than length wise gives the edgeband the natural look we seek.

The embossing on its surface makes the final result outstanding.

We recommend this product to band melamine boards with a straight wood grain design.
