How to achieve a real wood look

We have studied how to extract a solid plank from a log of wood.

As shown in the illustration, the resulting planks have the grain of the surface grained (not straight).

At the head of the plank, the grain follows the curves of the growth rings of the trunk.

Consequently, if we want to recreate melamine pieces with this solid appearance, we must apply the edge (at the ends of the piece) with our Testa Effect PVC.
