real cork

See swatches

We manufacture edgebanding made of authentic cork, available in various backing formats to suit the needs of each project: cork on wood veneer, cork on PVC, or cork on fleece backing.

Cork is highly valued in the furniture and interior design industry for its organic and warm nature, as well as its prominent decorative value. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, cork also offers practical functionalities, such as its ability to act as an acoustic insulator.

Our authentic cork edgebands are the ideal complement to achieve a polished and aesthetic finish on cork boards or panels coated with this material. They can also be combined with other materials to add an original and decorative touch to any indoor furniture piece.

Cork edgebanding with three different backings:

Cork edgebanding with a wood veneer backing

Technical specifications:

This edge banding consists of two layers: a 0.6 mm cork layer on top of a 0.4 mm oak wood veneer layer, resulting in a total thickness of 1 mm.

For bonding the layers, a PUR adhesive (reactive polyurethane hot melt glue, highly resistant to moisture) is used.

The cork surface is sanded, and the wood veneer back is calibrated.

The product is supplied in rolls and is recommended for edging boards.

Cork edgebanding with a paper backing

Technical specifications:

This edge banding consists of two layers: a 0.5 mm cork layer on top of a 0.2 mm paper backing, resulting in a total thickness of 0.7 mm.

For bonding the layers, a PUR adhesive (reactive polyurethane hot melt glue, highly resistant to moisture) is used.

The backing is a non-woven fabric layer placed under the cork to facilitate handling, providing flexibility and preventing breakage.

The cork surface is sanded and calibrated.

The product is supplied in rolls. Its flexibility and adaptability make it ideal for a trim covering use.
