We won’t bore you with a detailed account of our 38-year history, but here’s a summary of the key milestones that have shaped this family-owned company and brought us to where we are today:

We decided to expand our wood activities by creating Cantisa S.A., specializing in the manufacture of edgebands and trim covering products.
We started printing and applying textures on PVC. Custom prints for each customer became highly successful in the market. In the following years, we increased our production capacity with multiple printing lines.
The demand for our products kept growing. Thanks to our commitment to maximum quality, we surpassed the milestone of selling one million meters of edgebands per day, and the numbers continued to rise.
We became the first edgeband manufacturer in Spain to incorporate the digital printing technology. This innovation allows us to create exact reproductions of new digital melamines entering the market.
The Rico family founded a company dedicated to the production of wood veneers, which still exists today.
We anticipated market trends and started selling melamine and PVC edgebands, which were still relatively unknown in our country but soon gained significant demand.
We explored new markets outside of Spain and, shortly after, established an Export Department. The name Cantisa became recognized in countries across Europe, Africa, America, and Asia. Today, we export to over 50 countries.
We created the innovative “Décor Programme” collection with the aim of showcasing edgebands as decorative elements rather than mere accessories. One of them, the “Grid Effect Edgeband”, received an Interzum Award.
Today, we look to the future without forgetting our roots. We continue to improve and innovate with the same enthusiasm as the first day.
